Sant Feliu de Guíxols

South of Barcarola you will find the old fishermen's village of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, which is known for its Benedictine monastery with, as main attraction, an ancient part built in roman style.

During the whole year there are a variety of activities for the habitants, who give a warm welcome to all visitors who want to join them. Every Sunday, on the boulevard, there is a typical weekly market and on a regular basis a traditional Catalan dance festival is organized. In Sant Feliu de Giixols you will have no problem finding all the modern day conveniences you might need, but it will still give you the feeling that you are in a traditional Spanish fisher's town.
